Carmine Garofalo was born in Torre del Greco (NA) in 1973.

From a very young age, even before graduating in Advertising Graphics, he attended art workshops, screen printing and graphics studios, becoming passionate about photography, which will play a fundamental role in his entire artistic career.

From 1998 to 2003 he moved to Miami, thus approaching the study of Pop Art, from which he absorbed all the innovative techniques and experimented with different styles.

After various experiences with exhibitions in different galleries and comparisons with other artists, he aimed to acquire a personal style, hence the idea of ​​using fire that shapes and defines each of his works.

The use of plastic is also an important aspect, a material that goes from “waste” difficult to dispose of to “added value” of a work of art destined to last over time.

The cartoon-inspired works with neon lights and burnt plexiglass represent an adventurous fusion between the playful aesthetics of comics and the technological innovation of contemporary materials. This unique combination offers a surprising visual experience, where the bright colors of neon lights mix with the transparency and brightness of plexiglass, creating a kaleidoscopic and hypnotic effect.
The shapes and characters skillfully painted by the painter Garofalo become central elements of these works, reinterpreted through a filter of modernity and audacity.
